The Committee meets on an as-needed basis regarding:
- Systematic candidate screens for Board, Commissions and Committees.
- Appointment recommendations to the entire Council.

Finance/Investment Review Committee The Committee meets on an as needed basis regarding:
- Issues of a financial nature or with financial consequences and makes recommendations to the City Council.
- Input about the City's investment portfolio

Neighborhoods Committee The Council Neighborhoods Committee (CNC) oversees programs and activities intended to improve and enhance the City’s neighborhoods.Each year the Committee hosts three to four neighborhood meetings throughout the community to hear comments about neighborhood issues and respond to suggestions for improving City services.
The Committee also is responsible for the City’s Neighborhood Grant Program that provides funding to support the activities and organization of neighborhood groups.The Committee makes recommendations to the City Council on issues referred to them concerning housing, neighborhoods, and similar residential topics.

Procedures Committee The Committee meets on an as-needed basis regarding issues relating to City Council policies and/or procedures.

Technology Committee The Committee meets on an as-needed basis regarding studies and recommendations about technology-related policy issues.

Transportation Committee The Committee generally meets at 6:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month in the Plaza Conference Room at City Hall and makes transportation-related policy recommendations to the City Council regarding:
- City-wide transportation planning issues.
- Regional transportation system issues.
- The Neighborhood traffic management program.

Youth Services Committee The Committee meets on an as-needed basis regarding:
- Policy recommendations to the City Council regarding youth-related services.
- Reviews and updates to the City Youth Action Plan.
