Santa Clara County Youth Task Force
The Santa Clara County Youth Task Force (YTF) is a group composed of young people, from the ages of 12 to 18, empowered to make a difference. We serve as an advisory body to the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors and the Human Relations Commission. We address the issues that teens face on a regular basis.
Congresswoman Anna Eshoo's Student Advisory Board
The Student Advisory Board is made up of high school students who live in or attend a school in the 14th Congressional District. The Board has researched topics and polled students on issues important to young people and made recommendations on legislation being considered in Congress.

Youth Leadership Training in partnership with the Bill Wilson Center
Bill Wilson Center and San Jose City College has formed a partnership to bring a free dynamic summer youth leadership training called “Youth Revolution”- breaking the cycle of poverty mentality: a poor image of one self to achieve success and greatness. Youth who successfully complete the training will earn dual credit, high school and college credit.
Mountain View Youth Advisory Committee (YAC)
The Youth Advisory Committee is comprised of middle school and high school students that represent Mountain View teens in local government and have the opportunity to advise adults concerning teen issues. All meetings are open to the public.
CA YMCA Youth & Government, El Camino YMCA
Youth and Government is designed to give students a “hands-on” experience with the inner workings of California’s government.
Model United Nations, El Camino YMCA
Each delegation is assigned to one or more countries that they represent. Delegates research these countries and come to the Model United Nations Conference as representatives from their assigned countries.
Leader in Training - City of Mountain View
Summer Youth Programs – Leader In Training – Volunteers between the ages of 13 and 15 are encouraged to apply for the Leader in Training (LIT) program and assist Recreation Leaders with summer day camps and help lead games, sports, crafts, and field trips. Red Cross Youth Executive Board
The Red Cross Youth Executive Board plans and implements projects and programs that serve the needs of our community through service, education, and leadership. It inspires youth volunteerism in the local Red Cross and as needed represents the chapter's youth at national, state, and regional conventions.
Red Cross Youth in Disaster
Through the Youth in Disaster program, participants are educated in preparing for an emergency, and later educate their peers and community. Leadership skills are developed through individual participant's internship.
