Sports Leagues

Men's Adult Basketball
Men's Adult Basketball Leagues play on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at both the Whisman Sports Center and Mountain View Sports Pavilion.  Team registration for the 2008 Fall Winter League begins August 25, 2008 through September 15, 2008 or until all leagues are filled. The league will tentatively begin the week of October 6, 2008.

The following leagues will be offered in the 2008-2009 season:

Men's Tuesday Night C league at the Whisman Sports Center
Men's Wednesday Night D league at the Mountain View Sports Pavilion

To register your team for the 12 game season and playoff tournament you must submit your completed Managers Card, Team Roster and League Fees ($669 plus $12 per non resident) to the Recreation Division Office located at the Mountain View Community Center, 201 S. Rengstorff, Mountain View CA 94039-7540.

2007 Co-Ed Volleyball Champions-"Spinella"

Adult Softball
Softball leagues play at the Whisman Sports Center (Crittenden and Callhan) Field, located at 1500 Middlefield Road. Games are held Sunday afternoon beginning at 4:00 pm and Monday through Friday evenings begining at 6:30 pm. Team registration for the 2009 Spring Summer League is tenatively scheduled to begin February 19, 2009. The Spring Summer season tentatively begins the week of April 6, 2009.

Football Four-on-Four 
Flag Football teams play Monday evenings at the Whisman Sports Center (Crittenden Field), located at 1500 Middlefield Road. Team registration has begun for Men's, Coed and High School leagues. All games are non-contact 4 on 4 with a focus on sportsmanship, scoring and FUN! The Spring Summer 2009 season tentatively begins the week of April 6, 2009. Adult Open Gym - Volleyball
The Mountain View Sports Pavilion is open Sundays on a drop-in basis for volleyball from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mountain View residents or employees of Mountain View businesses only. An activity pass is encouraged ($11.75 for 10 visits, $23.75 for 20 visits) or pay a $2.25 drop-in fee per visit.

The Mountain View Sports Pavilion is open Sundays on a drop-in basis for volleyball from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mountain View residents or employees of Mountain View businesses only. An activity pass is encouraged ($11.50 for 10 visits, $23.00 for 20 visits) or pay a $2.00 drop-in fee per visit.

Activity passes may be purchased at the Recreation Office, 201 South Rengstorff Avenue, Monday through Friday—8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or Sunday evenings at the Pavilion. Exact change only, please. Proof of residency is required.
