At Cuesta Park & Downtown Mountain View

Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

 

Cuesta Park Concerts

Located on Cuesta Drive between Grant Road and Miramonte Avenue.

 July 17- The Refugees

The Refugees are a group of seasoned musicians who love the music of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and recreate their remarkable body of work down to the smallest detail. If the Heartbreakers are not on tour, the Refugees are the next best thing!

 July 24- West Valley Jazz Orchestra

The West Valley Jazz Orchestra is a premier ensemble of local professional musicians, with a 20 year tradition of playing the best in big band jazz. The West Valley Orchestra is led by musician/ composer/ instructor Gus Kambeitz.

 July 31- House Rockers

The Silicon Valley House Rockers is a ten piece band featuring a five piece horn section, two rhythm guitars, a bass guitar, drums and keyboard. They play a unique blend of the greatest rock & roll and rhythm & blues tunes ever recorded. From the Blues Brothers, to Springsteen, The Stones, and many more, the House Rockers bring these classics to life.

Located at the intersection of Castro Street an California Street.

  August 7- Pamela Rose Band

Pamela Rose is a San Francisco jazz and blues vocalist who has thrilled audiences locally and internationally with her swinging, soulful style. Rose is that rare breed of entertainer who connects solidly with her audience by always delivering a personal and unforgettable musical experience. Her rich, warm voice and easy rapport with excellent musicians moves jazz and blues audiences of all ages.

  September 4- Tiger Club

The Tiger Club plays a variety of songs with rich backgrounds. Influenced by everything from Freddy King, to the blues, to New Orleans, the Tiger Club plays songs from each of these different styles. The band is composed of musicians from all over the nation, including the Bay Area, Los Angeles and Nashville.

 

Civic Center Plaza Concert

Located outside City Hall on Civic Center Plaza in downtown Mountain View.

 August 14- Joe Sharino

The Joe Sharino Band is always a hit! Their music is the best of Pop, Rock, Motown, Funk, Country, Disco, R&B, Jazz, Latin and Swing from six decades. Back by popular demand, don’t miss this show!

 

 2008 Summer Concerts

Cuesta Park, Downtown Castro Street and Civic Center Plaza provide the backdrop for this year’s 2008 Summer Concert Series where the best sights and sounds of the Bay Area’s best bands can be seen. These FREE concerts are a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a picnic dinner in an entertaining and relaxing atmosphere. All concerts are from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  Please bring folding lawn chairs of blankets to sit on. There is no “fixed” seating at concert sites.

  Bring a sweater or jacket as evening weather can get cold.

  Consumption of alcohol is not permitted at the concert sites.

 PARKING for Cuesta Park Concets: Please Arrive early to get a good parking space and please do not block driveways on neighboring streets.

 PARKING for Thursday Night Live and Civic Center Plaza Concerts: Available in the Civic Center’s underground parking garage. Entrance located on Mercy Street.
