CURRENT CODES - Effective December 27, 2007

Effective December 27, 2007 all plans submitted for building and fire plan check and permitting will be required to comply with the following codes and standards:

NFPA 11, 12, 14, 16, 2001
2005 Edition
NFPA 12A
2004 Edition
NFPA 13, 13D, 13R
2002 Edition
NFPA 15
2001 Edition
NFPA 17, 17A, 24, 72,
2002 Edition
NFPA 20, 22
2003 Edition

Copies of the Mountain View City Code amendments may be obtained at the Building Inspection Division in the Development Services Center or on-line at www.mountainview.gov (see link for City Code). Copies of the 2007 California Codes are available to the public to view in the Building Inspection Division and Mountain View Library.The International Building and Fire Codes may be purchased from the International Code Council at (800)786-4452 and the Uniform Plumbing and Mechanical Codes may be purchase from IAPMO at (800)854-2766.
