Welcome to the City of Mountain View's Building Inspection Division and Development Services Center! A "one-stop" location for resources and assistance related to the review of new construction plans, fire prevention functions, home remodel regulations, construction plans for both Building Code and Fire Code compliance, and construction inspections.

Building inspection requests received by 3:00 pm will be scheduled for the next day. Inspection requests received after 3:00 pm will be scheduled for the second working day.

Fire inspections are available Monday, Wednesday, Friday and must be scheduled during business hours at (650) 903-6313.
